Incumbent Paul Lefebvre holds an 80.5% implied probability in the Greater Sudbury mayoral market due to his established position heading into the October 26, 2026 election. He filed early, has highlighted pursuit of prior campaign commitments on housing, infrastructure, and economic projects, and remains active on local priorities including critical minerals development amid tariff pressures. A fragmented field of challengers—including Miranda Rocca-Circelli at 7.5% and several others below 3%—has not consolidated meaningful support or shifted trader consensus. With nominations certified after the August 21 deadline and no major late developments altering the race dynamics, current pricing reflects the advantages of incumbency and limited competitive pressure ahead of voting.
