Recent ensemble forecasts from major models indicate a cooling influence from increased cloud cover and scattered showers or thunderstorms expected over Ankara on September 17, moderating daytime highs into the low 20s°C and supporting the market's tight clustering around 21–23°C outcomes. This stems from a shift in steering patterns and higher humidity levels that limit solar insolation compared to clearer conditions earlier in the month. Model spread on the exact timing of any afternoon clearing versus persistent overcast creates the differentiation between the leading probabilities, with drier scenarios allowing brief warming to 23°C or higher. Official updates from the Turkish State Meteorological Service and fresh GFS/ECMWF runs over the next 48 hours will likely refine these projections ahead of resolution.
