Recent National Weather Service and private model runs indicate Houston highs on September 19 will likely peak in the low-to-mid 90s under mostly sunny skies and light easterly flow, with limited cloud cover and no significant frontal passage or tropical moisture to suppress temperatures. This pattern aligns with the market's heaviest weighting on 92-93°F, as ensemble guidance clusters near 93°F while allowing modest upside or downside from exact timing of peak heating or localized sea-breeze effects. Above-normal September conditions, driven by persistent subtropical ridging, have kept recent daily maxima 3–6°F above the 1991–2020 average of 88.7°F, supporting the current trader consensus around the low-90s range ahead of any later-week cooling signals.
