This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Vnukovo International Airport in degrees Celsius on 19 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=UUWW If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current forecasts position 18–19°C as the most probable range for Moscow’s highest temperature on September 19, 2026, aligning closely with market-implied odds favoring 19°C (53%) and 18°C (25.5%).** Multiple meteorological sources, including global and regional models updated as of September 17, project a daytime high near 17–19°C under mostly cloudy to overcast skies with light southwesterly winds and a chance of light rain or drizzle. Key drivers include the seasonal transition to autumn, where typical mid-September highs in Moscow average around 15–18°C. Persistent cloud cover is expected to limit daytime solar heating, while any precipitation on the 18th–19th period adds a cooling influence through evaporative effects and reduced insolation. Ensemble guidance shows limited spread, with most runs clustering in the upper teens Celsius and little indication of stronger warm advection or clear-sky heating that would push readings to 20°C or above. Traders appear to be weighting the consensus from recent model runs and official outlooks showing stable, moderate conditions rather than outliers suggesting sharper warming or cooling. Resolution will depend on the official maximum recorded at the primary Moscow station, with the narrow probability distribution reflecting both the tight forecast consensus and the inherent uncertainty in short-range temperature predictions.
