Recent official forecasts from NOAA-affiliated sources indicate San Francisco will reach a daily high near 70°F on September 13, 2026, under sunny to partly cloudy skies with moderate west-northwest winds. This aligns with the market's leading 70-71°F bin at 56% implied probability and the closely trailing 68-69°F outcome. Typical late-summer marine influence and seasonal averages around 70.8°F provide climatological support, while hourly observations show temperatures climbing steadily into the upper 60s midday without exceeding model consensus. Traders appear to weigh these verified measurements and short-range model agreement heavily, with low probabilities assigned to extremes reflecting minimal deviation risk on this date.
