South Korea's annual inflation for 2026 is most likely to settle in the 2.7–2.9% band according to current market-implied odds, as traders incorporate the Bank of Korea's steady 2% target alongside recent CPI readings that have stabilized near 2.5–3.0%. Persistent but cooling pressures from imported energy and services, combined with modest domestic demand growth, support this central tendency over higher or lower brackets. Monetary policy easing cycles and upcoming economic releases through year-end remain key swing factors that could shift probabilities if labor market or global commodity trends deviate from consensus forecasts.
