Tomas Machac, ranked around No. 53, grinded past Daniel Altmaier in three sets to advance but trails 0-3 in their head-to-head, all on hard courts; his recent clay form remains unproven at this level. Monte Carlo's grinding red clay favors baseline endurance, amplifying Sinner's superior rankings, power, and current streak as the key drivers of trader consensus.
