Fajing Sun, ranked No. 244, enters the Wuning 2 Challenger second-round clash on hard courts as the clear favorite against qualifier Khumoyun Sultanov (No. 871), buoyed by a dominant 6-2, 6-1 first-round win over Tai Sach and recent semifinals at Wuning 1. Sultanov advanced via qualifiers and a gritty 6-3, 7-6(4) victory over Aoran Wang, showcasing resilience but facing a rankings gap and away challenge in China. With no head-to-head history, trader consensus reflects Sun's superior recent form, home-court edge, and hard-court comfort, though Sultanov's momentum from three straight wins introduces upset potential amid standard indoor conditions and no reported injuries.
