Recent numerical weather prediction model consensus from sources including the Turkish State Meteorological Service and European models indicates clear skies, light northeasterly winds, and stable high pressure will allow peak solar insolation over Ankara’s 870 m elevation on September 9, supporting a daytime maximum near 27 °C. Hourly guidance shows rapid morning warming under minimal cloud cover and negligible precipitation risk, with afternoon values most likely peaking in the mid-to-upper 20s °C. This atmospheric setup aligns with the market-implied probabilities favoring 27 °C at 63.5 % and nearby outcomes at 26–28 °C, reflecting trader assessment of limited forecast spread and typical late-summer climatology for the region. Official resolution will rely on the highest verified reading from the primary Ankara station.
