Official NWS forecasts and model consensus point to a Houston high in the low 90s on September 10, with partly sunny skies and a 40-50% chance of diurnally driven showers and thunderstorms tied to seabreeze convergence and elevated precipitable water. Trader consensus favoring 86-91°F ranges reflects this narrow spread, as afternoon convection could cap the peak below forecast values if storms develop early or allow readings near 92-94°F if coverage stays limited. High humidity will support heat indices above 100°F, while light southeasterly flow and a mid-level weakness maintain typical late-summer instability without strong steering influences. Updated NWS briefings and radar trends through the afternoon will refine the final maximum.
