Recent numerical weather model consensus from sources including the National Meteorological Center and international ensembles points to a daily maximum near 31–32 °C in Shenzhen on September 10, consistent with late-summer subtropical climatology where September averages 31 °C. Light to moderate easterly flow, surface dew points near 23 °C, and scattered thunderstorm development expected during peak heating hours are likely to cap extreme values while still permitting brief periods above 30 °C. Recent observations show September 8–9 maxima of 32–33 °C under mostly clear conditions, supporting trader emphasis on the 31 °C and 32 °C outcomes (combined 62.5 % implied probability) over higher or lower thresholds. Updated model runs and local observations tomorrow morning will refine the final recorded high before market resolution.
