Recent forecasts from KNMI and global models indicate a high near 18°C for Amsterdam on September 9, driven by a westerly Atlantic flow with showers and northwest winds of 15–17 mph that limit daytime heating. This follows a sharp cooldown after 26.5°C on September 7, with Tuesday’s rain further suppressing temperatures. The 18–19°C outcomes dominate trader consensus because ensemble guidance clusters in that narrow range, though minor timing shifts in showers or wind could allow a brief push toward 19°C. Historical September 9 averages near 20°C provide context, but the current pattern favors the lower end of normal. Updated KNMI and ECMWF runs over the next 48 hours represent the key data points that could refine these market-implied probabilities.
