Trader consensus places overwhelming weight on a minimum of 5°C or below in Buenos Aires on September 9, reflecting a persistent cool air mass and clear nocturnal conditions favoring strong radiative cooling. Recent station data show minima already dipping to 2.4°C earlier in the week, well below the September climatological average near 9°C, with light winds and dew points supporting further overnight drops. Official forecast guidance highlights stable high pressure and limited mixing, keeping temperatures suppressed through dawn. Hourly observations from Buenos Aires stations will finalize the reading before resolution. Only a sharp, unforecasted influx of warmer northerly flow or measurement revision could realistically shift the outcome above 5°C.
