**An incoming Atlantic perturbation is driving the sharp cooldown expected in Milan on September 9, shifting trader sentiment toward a daily high near 23–25 °C.** After several days of anomalous late-summer heat with highs near 32–34 °C, official forecasts and model consensus indicate the front will arrive Wednesday with widespread showers and thunderstorms, lowering maximum temperatures by 8–10 °C and bringing them close to or slightly above the long-term September average of roughly 22–25 °C. This rapid transition, typical of early-September steering patterns that replace subtropical air with cooler maritime flow, creates the tight clustering of implied probabilities around 24 °C (35.5 %) and 23 °C (22.5 %), while limiting the chance of extremes above 26 °C or below 21 °C. Updated guidance from meteorological agencies in the coming 48 hours will be the key variable that could further refine these market-implied odds.
