Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate Houston will see a minimum temperature near 78–80°F on September 10, with highs in the lower 90s amid partly sunny skies and a 50% chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Persistent Gulf moisture and light southeasterly flow are sustaining elevated overnight readings, consistent with recent days' upper-70s to low-80s lows and well above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 73.9°F. No strong frontal passage or drier air mass is expected before the date, limiting cooling potential. Traders appear to weigh these stable synoptic conditions most heavily, with the 78–79°F bin leading at 42.5% implied probability.
