Recent forecast updates from official Chinese meteorological sources and ensemble models indicate mostly sunny conditions with light southerly winds and low humidity on September 21, supporting strong daytime heating and a maximum temperature likely in the 29–31°C range. Clear skies and minimal cloud cover differentiate the closely matched 30°C and 31°C outcomes, as slight variations in afternoon insolation or boundary-layer mixing could tip the daily high across the threshold. Historical September baselines for Beijing show typical highs near 26–28°C, but current anomalous warmth and stable high pressure have elevated trader-implied odds toward the upper end. Model consensus remains tight, with limited disagreement on steering patterns or timing of any late-day cloud increase, though final observational data before market resolution may still shift probabilities within this narrow band.
