Recent official forecasts from the Met Office and supporting model guidance show London transitioning from a warm southerly airflow on the 25th to a cooler northwesterly regime by the 26th, with increased cloud cover and lighter winds limiting daytime heating. This setup caps expected afternoon maxima near 20–21°C, consistent with ensemble consensus and climatological norms for late September. Trader positioning around 20°C as the narrow leader, alongside elevated odds on 25°C+, reflects residual uncertainty over exact cloud breaks, frontal timing, or localized warming pockets that could nudge the daily high a degree either way before resolution.
