Current forecasts for London on September 24 indicate a high-pressure pattern supporting partly cloudy conditions and highs near 20–22°C, consistent with the market’s near-even distribution across 19–25°C outcomes. Key variables include the extent of September sunshine penetration through variable cloud, light southerly winds that may enhance or limit warming, and minor model differences in frontal timing. Historical late-September averages near 19°C provide context, yet the ongoing warm spell—driven by settled high pressure—elevates the likelihood of exceeding typical values. Updated model runs and Met Office guidance on cloud cover and wind shifts over the next 48 hours will refine the precise maximum.
