Recent official forecasts from the UK Met Office and ensemble models indicate a likely overnight low of 11°C in London on September 24, driven by building high pressure that favors clear skies and enhanced radiational cooling after daytime highs near 22°C. This aligns with the seasonal decline in minimum temperatures during late September, when historical averages at Heathrow fall between 10–12°C amid transitioning Atlantic flow. Light northeasterly winds and dew points near 9–10°C further support modest overnight drops without significant cloud cover or precipitation to moderate cooling. Trader consensus around 10–12°C reflects these stable model outputs, with limited upside risk from warmer advection or downside from unexpected frontal passage before resolution. Updated guidance on September 23 will provide the final refinement ahead of the 24-hour period.
