Tomáš Hrubý, ANO’s designated leader for the October 9-10 municipal elections, holds a narrow edge in trader pricing after incumbent Petr Nedvědický stepped aside. A broad field of challengers—including Tomáš Vohryzka of the Jedno Ústí coalition, Yveta Tomková of Vaše Ústí, Radim Bzura of ODS, Michal Mohr of SPD, and Richard Matiašek—keeps probabilities clustered near even. The contest remains tight because local proportional representation requires post-election coalition building among fragmented parties, recent polling shows no dominant bloc, and Hrubý’s June speeding incident produced only limited movement in implied odds. Key upcoming catalysts include final candidate lists, campaign events, and the vote itself, any of which could shift consensus on the eventual council choice for mayor.
