In the ATP Challenger Santa Cruz de la Sierra on clay, Chilean Matias Soto (ATP 304) faces Argentine Mariano Kestelboim (624) in the first round, with trader consensus heavily favoring Soto due to the wide ranking gap and Kestelboim's four-match losing streak entering the event. No prior head-to-head exists, but Soto's steadier recent Challenger form contrasts Kestelboim's struggles, emphasizing baseline consistency and endurance key on South American red clay. No injuries or withdrawals reported in the past 48 hours; potential upset hinges on Kestelboim's home-region motivation amid altitude in Bolivia, though Soto's surface affinity bolsters his edge absent late scratches.
