Apple’s official invitation for its September 9 “Surprise and Shine” event at Apple Park, which explicitly signals the debut of the iPhone 18 Pro lineup alongside the company’s first foldable iPhone (widely expected as the iPhone Ultra), has driven the 94% market-implied odds. Credible reporting from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and supply-chain sources confirms the book-style device—with roughly 5.5-inch cover and 7.8-inch inner displays, titanium frame, and near crease-free panel—remains on track despite earlier manufacturing concerns. The event, just days away, also marks incoming CEO John Ternus’s first major keynote. While last-minute production or presentation shifts remain theoretically possible, the combination of Apple’s public confirmation and consistent analyst validation leaves little realistic room for the foldable to be absent from the September lineup.
