Official National Weather Service forecasts indicate a high near 94°F for Atlanta on September 19 amid unseasonable warmth driven by a persistent upper-level ridge, with afternoon thunderstorm chances potentially limiting the daily maximum if convection develops early. Model guidance shows variability in peak timing and coverage, where stronger storms or earlier cloud build-up could hold readings in the low 90s while clearer conditions allow upper 90s. This uncertainty, combined with recent multi-day highs in the low-to-mid 90s and climatological September averages near 85°F, underpins the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 90–95°F. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon model runs will likely refine resolution criteria for the exact maximum.
