Forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate a mostly cloudy day with light northerly winds and limited afternoon heating, positioning Seattle's high temperature near 70°F. Persistent marine layer influence and extensive cloud cover have suppressed daytime warming below the September climatological average of 72°F, keeping readings aligned with recent model consensus. This data supports the market's leading 70-71°F outcome at 48% implied probability, followed by 68-69°F at 24.5%, as traders weigh the narrow range of expected maxima against minor uncertainties in exact cloud timing and any late-day clearing. Updated NWS guidance through the afternoon will refine resolution criteria based on official observations.
