Savo Minić leads the Republika Srpska presidential race in trader assessments at 60% implied probability ahead of the October 4, 2026 general election, reflecting the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) incumbency advantage and organizational strength following its narrow victory in the 2025–26 snap contest. The ruling party's candidate, currently serving as prime minister, benefits from institutional control and backing by influential SNSD figures, while main challenger Branko Blanuša of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) trails at 36% amid opposition fragmentation. Lower probabilities for remaining candidates, including several independents and smaller-party figures, align with limited polling visibility and historical patterns of SNSD dominance in entity-level votes. Recent developments center on candidate confirmations and coalition alignments in July 2026, with no major shifts reported since the February 2026 rerun that confirmed the prior SNSD win.
