Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Official forecasts from the China Meteorological Administration, aligned with European and U.S. model consensus, established a Beijing daily maximum of 28°C on June 5 under persistent cloud cover and northeasterly winds that limited solar heating. These conditions followed slightly warmer prior days yet kept the peak squarely at the 28°C threshold, producing the market's near-certain outcome. Historical June averages near 30°C provide context, but today's specific steering patterns and reduced insolation locked in the result. A late revision in verified observations or an unforeseen convective burst could theoretically alter the final reading, though current data make such shifts improbable before resolution.
