Recent ensemble forecasts for Jeddah on September 14 indicate daytime highs centered in the 37–39°C range under persistent high pressure, clear to partly cloudy skies, and light westerly winds typical of the Red Sea coastal regime. Model consensus from sources like GFS and ECMWF shows limited cloud cover and minimal marine influence to suppress temperatures, supporting the market's 49% implied probability on 39°C or higher as the leading outcome. Historical September climatology for the region averages near 36–37°C, with recent days tracking slightly above normal amid stable atmospheric conditions. Traders appear to weigh the spread in model runs—some projecting 38°C peaks while others reach 40°C—against the narrow 2-day window before official station readings resolve the market.
