Persistent southwest monsoon rains and widespread cloud cover over Manila are the main drivers keeping trader-implied probabilities tightly clustered between 26°C and 33°C. Official PAGASA guidance for September 10 projects daytime highs of 25–31°C amid moderate to occasionally heavy showers and southwesterly winds, consistent with seasonal habagat patterns that reduce insolation and cap afternoon peaks. Model consensus shows limited diurnal warming potential under overcast skies, while the absence of a direct tropical cyclone influence adds modest uncertainty to exact maxima. Fresh forecast updates from PAGASA and global ensembles over the next 48 hours will likely refine the narrow temperature band traders are pricing.
