Recent National Weather Service and private model consensus forecasts a high of 80–82°F in New York City on September 8 under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with light northwest winds, positioning the 82–83°F bin as the market leader at 49% implied probability. This aligns with the seasonal average high near 79°F and follows a stable high-pressure pattern after cooler conditions earlier in the week. Limited model spread and minimal precipitation risk support the clustering around 80–85°F outcomes, while probabilities for 86°F or higher remain low absent any late intensification or warm-air advection. Final NWS updates and any overnight model runs will provide the last inputs before resolution.
