Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance indicates Atlanta overnight lows near 68–71°F on September 8 under mostly clear skies and light easterly winds, favoring moderate radiational cooling after daytime highs in the mid-to-upper 80s. This aligns with climatological norms for early September but leaves room for variance from subtle changes in cloud cover, dew points, or boundary-layer mixing. Trader odds remain dispersed across several bins because short-range ensemble spreads show possible deviations of a few degrees, while the modest 34.5% on 63°F or below reflects limited downside risk absent a stronger cool-air surge. Updated model runs and official NWS forecast discussions expected in the next 24–48 hours will likely tighten the distribution.
