Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private providers indicate a high near 89–91°F in Miami on September 2, driven by typical early-September subtropical conditions: high dew points near 78–80°F, light east-southeast flow, and afternoon sea-breeze convection that caps peak heating through cloud cover and scattered thunderstorms. Historical climatology shows early-September maxima averaging 88–90°F, with recent days featuring similar moisture and storm activity that has kept readings from exceeding 92°F. Market-implied odds favor the 90–91°F bin as the consensus outcome, while the 29.5% on 92–93°F reflects residual uncertainty in storm timing and coverage; updated model runs tonight or tomorrow morning will likely refine these probabilities before resolution.
