Recent forecasts from sources including the Russian Hydrometeorological Center and global models indicate a daytime high near 20°C in Moscow on September 9 under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies with light northwesterly to southwesterly winds. This follows cooler conditions on September 8, when highs reached only about 17°C amid northerly flow. The shift toward warmer advection, combined with increasing solar insolation and minimal cloud cover or precipitation, supports trader focus on the narrow 20–21°C range. Model consensus places the peak near the historical average high of 17.7°C but above recent cooler trends, with low humidity and stable pressure aiding diurnal warming. Minor variations in exact timing of peak heating or thin cloud layers create the close spread between leading outcomes.
