Beinir Johannesen's status as incumbent Prime Minister, leading the largest bloc in the Faroe Islands' coalition government, anchors his 65.5% trader consensus as the most likely next Løgmaður. Following the April 2024 snap election, his Sambandsflokkurin secured 9 of 33 Løgting seats, forming a stable majority with the People's Party (6 seats) and Centre Party (2 seats) in May. Aksel V. Johannesen's Javnaðarflokkurin, with 7 seats as primary opposition, positions him at 17.5% amid historical alternation patterns. Lower odds for Ruth Vang, Jenis av Rana, Bárður á Steig Nielsen, and Høgni Hoydal reflect their parties' smaller shares (4-6 seats). No major coalition strains or polls have emerged recently, sustaining status quo sentiment ahead of the 2028 election cycle.
