Daniel Dutra da Silva, the 37-year-old Brazilian with a career-high ATP ranking near 200, brings extensive ITF experience and a solid clay-court record to this M25 Ceska Lipa first-round matchup against 18-year-old Czech Matyas Kozlovsky. Dutra da Silva has competed regularly at this level with mixed recent results, while Kozlovsky, a former junior standout with a career-high ITF junior ranking around 170, has posted several strong qualifying and early-round wins on European clay this spring. No prior head-to-head exists between them. The clay surface and local crowd support favor Kozlovsky’s developing game, though the veteran’s consistency and physical edge could prove decisive in what shapes up as a competitive opener.
