Florida's 19th Congressional District, an open seat after incumbent Byron Donalds shifted to a 2026 gubernatorial bid, remains a Solid Republican stronghold per Cook Political Report ratings, with a partisan voter index of R+14—ranking among the nation's most reliably GOP districts. Recent FEC filings as of March 31 show a crowded Republican primary featuring well-funded contenders like radio owner Jim Schwartzel ($1.73 million raised, $1.47 million cash on hand) and activist Ola Hawatmeh ($379,000 raised), dwarfing the modest Democratic field of Victor Arias, Jared Kane, and Howard Sapp. Traders price Republican victory at 89.5% implied probability, reflecting the district's history of 66% GOP margins in 2024 and weak Democratic turnout prospects ahead of the April 24 filing deadline, August 18 primary, and November 3 general election.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
