Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model consensus point to sunny skies, light northerly winds, and minimal cloud cover supporting a high near 94°F in Atlanta on September 14, with surface heating under clear conditions and dew points in the low 70s. This above-average reading—relative to the 1991–2020 September 14 mean of 84°F—reflects the post-frontal subsidence and drier air mass arriving after scattered storms on the 12th. Trader-implied probabilities cluster tightly on 92–95°F outcomes because short-range models show limited spread in maximum temperature, though small variations in boundary-layer mixing or timing of any residual moisture could shift the peak by a degree or two before official verification at Hartsfield-Jackson.
