Recent official outlooks from Singapore’s meteorological service highlight southwest monsoon conditions expected to persist through late September 2026, with daily maximum temperatures most often reaching 33–34 °C and occasional peaks near 35 °C amid localized afternoon thundery showers. Multiple short-range forecasts for September 25 converge on highs of 31–32 °C, reflecting typical September climatology (average high 31.6 °C) tempered by cloud cover and humidity that can suppress peak readings. The first half of the month ran notably warmer, with multiple days above 34 °C, yet recent model guidance and observed cooling trends have shifted trader focus toward the 32–33 °C range. Afternoon convective activity remains the key variable that could push the daily maximum one degree higher or lower on the day.
