Recent forecasts from multiple meteorological models indicate a high of 23–24°C for Zhengzhou on September 24, driven by an approaching frontal system that will bring overcast skies, showers, and easterly winds, limiting daytime heating. This aligns with the market-implied probabilities favoring 22°C or below (43.5%) and 23–25°C outcomes, as cloud cover and precipitation suppress temperatures below the late-September climatological average of roughly 26–27°C. Historical data show highs on this date typically range 24–27°C under clearer conditions, but current model consensus points to reduced insolation and moisture advection as the key cooling factors. Official readings from the China Meteorological Administration will resolve the market once the daily maximum is recorded.
