Current National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate an overnight low near 70–72°F for Atlanta on September 21, driven by a persistent warm, moist air mass with dew points in the upper 60s and light variable winds limiting radiational cooling. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms may increase cloud cover and reduce nighttime temperature drops, while any clearer periods could allow modest additional cooling toward the lower end of guidance. This setup keeps the market-implied odds closely split between outcomes above 84°F and 65°F or below, reflecting uncertainty in exact cloud trends and boundary-layer mixing ahead of a stronger cool front expected midweek. Historical September averages place the daily low near 64°F, underscoring how the current anomalous warmth sustains elevated trader focus on short-term model shifts.
