Recent forecasts from NWS and regional models indicate Denver's September 9 overnight low will likely fall in the mid-to-upper 50s°F under building high pressure, light northerly winds, and reduced cloud cover after earlier isolated thunderstorms. This setup favors radiational cooling at the city's 5,280-foot elevation and low humidity, where clear skies and calm conditions enhance surface heat loss overnight. Trader consensus clusters tightly around 53–61°F because ensemble guidance shows modest spread in dew points and boundary-layer mixing, while historical September averages near 52°F provide baseline context. Any late-day frontal passage or increased moisture could push readings lower, but current stability supports the narrow probability band.
