Trader consensus shows tight clustering of implied probabilities around 52-57°F for Seattle’s overnight low on September 7, driven by divergence among National Weather Service ensemble forecasts. Subtle differences in marine-layer depth, cloud-cover timing, and light wind patterns control the extent of radiative cooling, producing a narrow spread of outcomes near seasonal norms. Recent upper-level ridging has maintained conditions close to historical early-September baselines, where median lows fall in the mid-50s, yet small steering-flow adjustments could shift results by a few degrees. Updated model runs and National Weather Service briefings over the next 48 hours are likely to refine the distribution ahead of the observation window.
