The Catalan party’s support remains essential to block opposition no-confidence motions, yet shifting regional polls favoring harder-line separatist groups and broader corruption investigations have raised questions about Junts’ willingness to sustain the coalition. A non-binding June resolution urging Sánchez’s resignation passed narrowly, while opposition parties lack the 176-seat absolute majority needed to succeed.
