Forecasts from the National Weather Service and multiple models indicate a high near 78°F for New York City on September 12, 2026, under partly cloudy skies with southeast winds and minimal precipitation. This aligns with the historical average high of 77.7°F for the date and positions the 78-79°F range as the market leader at 50.5% implied probability. Recent model runs show limited variability, with steering patterns and dew points supporting modest warmth rather than extremes, while the 76-77°F and 80-81°F bins capture remaining uncertainty in boundary-layer mixing and cloud cover. Official observations at LaGuardia will determine resolution, with traders weighting the consensus guidance heavily given stable conditions through the period.
