Recent polls from mid-September 2026 show Die Linke and CDU nearly tied for first place in the Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election, with AfD a close third and Grüne further back, creating substantial uncertainty over second place. This tight four-party contest stems from Linke's sustained gains since 2023, CDU's recovery after Kai Wegner's withdrawal as lead candidate and replacement by Stefan Evers, and AfD's doubled support amid broader dissatisfaction with the incumbent CDU-SPD coalition. SPD and smaller parties like BSW and FDP trail well behind the threshold. With voting on September 20, final turnout shifts among swing voters in key districts and any late campaign events could determine which of the top contenders finishes second.

This market will resolve to the political party that wins the second-greatest number of seats in the formal deliberative assembly of Berlin (Abgeordnetenhaus) as a result of this election.
If voting in the Berlin election for the Abgeordnetenhaus does not occur by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other".
The named parties or coalitions will be primarily ranked by the number of seats won in the specified election.
