Recent polls show a tight contest for fourth place in Brazil’s October 4 first round, with Augusto Cury, Renan Santos, and Ronaldo Caiado clustered in the low single digits behind frontrunners Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro. Cury has gained ground through social-media visibility and self-help appeal, while Santos draws from anti-establishment networks and Caiado relies on established center-right support in key states. Fragmented conservative and smaller-party votes, combined with high undecided shares and limited remaining campaign time, keep the ordering fluid. Late polling shifts, regional turnout differences, or last-minute endorsements could reorder the lower tier before ballots close. Trader pricing reflects this narrow separation among the three leading contenders for the spot.
