Gracinha Caiado (União Brasil) leads recent polls for one Goiás Senate seat in the October 2026 election, while the contest for second place remains fragmented among a crowded field. July surveys from Quaest and Real Time Big Data showed her at 20-26%, followed by Vanderlan Cardoso (PSD), Dr. Zacharias Calil (MDB), Gustavo Gayer (PL), and Gustavo Mendanha (PRD) clustered in single digits or low teens, with 30%+ undecided or blank votes. Multiple parties are running viable names, including Ernesto Roller (PSDB), Cintia Dias (PSOL), and others, preventing any single challenger from consolidating support. This structure sustains tight implied probabilities across contenders, as coalition dynamics, regional turnout, and late shifts in voter preferences among the undecided could determine the final ordering for the second vacancy.
