National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a high near 100°F for Dallas on September 10 under persistent southerly flow and strong high pressure, supporting the market's heavy weighting toward the 98-99°F and 100-101°F bins. Afternoon heating may trigger isolated showers or thunderstorms that slightly suppress the peak, creating modest uncertainty around the exact threshold. Recent days have featured readings of 100-102°F amid an above-normal pattern well exceeding the 91°F climatological average high, while heat indices near 105-107°F underscore the intensity. Updated model runs and NWS briefings in the hours before peak heating remain the key variables that could shift implied probabilities.
