Forecast consensus from multiple models points to a daily maximum of 36–37°C in Jeddah on September 11, driving the market's heavy weighting toward those outcomes. Coastal Red Sea location and moderate humidity near 50% during peak heating hours typically cap extremes compared to inland areas, while light southwesterly winds and mostly clear skies favor steady afternoon warming without significant cloud cover or precipitation. Recent September observations show temperatures running 1–2°C above the 31.5°C monthly normal, with prior daily maxima reaching 38°C, yet current runs indicate a slight easing today. Traders appear to weigh this stable pattern against minor model spread on exact peak timing, keeping 38°C or higher at low implied probability.
