**Market-implied odds reflect strong model consensus for a daily maximum near 37–38°C in Jeddah on September 9, driven by stable late-summer conditions along the Red Sea coast.** Multiple forecasts, including those from Weather Atlas and PredictWind, project a high of 38°C under sunny to partly cloudy skies with light west-northwest winds, low humidity around 40–50% during peak heating, and negligible precipitation risk. This aligns closely with September’s long-term average maximum of approximately 37.6°C at Jeddah stations. Recent days show a slight cooling trend from early-month peaks near 38.4°C, supporting the balanced probabilities between 37°C and 38°C. Differentiation among 37°C, 38°C, and 39°C+ hinges on minor model variations in daytime cloud cover, wind-driven mixing, and exact peak timing, which can shift the observed maximum by 1–2°C at official reporting sites like King Abdulaziz International Airport. Traders are pricing in these narrow uncertainties ahead of final observations.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=oejn
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
