Recent forecast models from Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration and global ensembles point to a maximum of 30–32°C in Taipei on September 18 under partly cloudy skies and light northeasterly flow typical of the strengthening northeast monsoon. These conditions support the market’s leading outcomes near 31°C by limiting strong daytime heating while maintaining subtropical humidity that can elevate afternoon readings. Ensemble spread remains modest, with lower probabilities for 29°C or below reflecting stable steering patterns and slim chances for organized convection. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will refine cloud-cover and wind forecasts that directly influence the final high.
